WELCOME TO ACT THEATRE

ACT Theatre was born out of need for a performing space and a longing to have a creative area to produce Amasing Communty Theatre.

In the Summer of 2021 ACT Youth Theatre were searching for a space to perform there summer show  in, due to the restriction placed on local theatre spaces in the surrounding area there was no way for there students to perfom there summer showcase ExtrACTs.

 

So ACT created there own :

Using Currock Comunity Center (the space that they run ACT Youth Theatre from, they birthed a theatre that would be the base for there shows, with help from family, Friends, students and the tremendous generosity of the University of Cumbria donating flooring, lights, lighting desk to name a few.

And the amazing support from the staff at Currcock Comunty Center.

The ACT Theatre was born.

​

Set up to house various different types of shows to bring creativity back into the local community and have a space that can be utilised whenever there is a opportunity.
